Outer space/Exploring Letter O Number 4

This week for our preschool co-op the theme was outer space. Here are some pictures of the fun activities we did:

Counting to four, matching our stars to the worksheet to help reinforce one to one correspondence. We also practiced tracing O's and coloring an Owl. 

 Rocketship snack. 

 Decorating O's like outer space. 

We also went outside to look at the big horned owls in the trees. The kids liked using binoculars to see them. 

We danced around to Rocketship Run and other space songs. We also had a sensory bin full of planets and stars to play in. We pretended to be astronauts and made helmets out of aluminum foil.
